Dave DeBusschere Scholarship Fund
The National Basketball Retired Players Association established a scholarship fund in 1992. The purpose of the program is to provide scholarships to former professional basketball players and their children to help them meet the cost of higher education. In the summer of 2003, the NBRPA Scholarship Fund was renamed The Dave DeBusschere NBRPA Scholarship Fund. The Association has donated over $1,000,000 in scholarship money to former players and their children.
