ARNIE D. FIELKOW TO VISIT ATLANTA NBRPA CHAPTER ON OCTOBER 27

New NBRPA leader to share ideas in meeting with retired players living in the Atlanta area

 NEW YORK – Arnie D. Fielkow, who took over as CEO of the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) on Oct. 1, has scheduled a series of visits with NBRPA chapters and will meet with Atlanta members on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Buckhead Marriott in Atlanta. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.

“Atlanta is a very important market for the NBRPA, with many former professional basketball players living in the area,” Fielkow said. “Our organization exists to serve membership and I’m very excited to meet and share ideas with our Atlanta chapter.”

The NBRPA also has chapters in Houston, Los Angeles , Orlando and Phoenix, with new chapters set to open in several other strong NBA markets. Fielkow has additional visits with NBRPA members planned in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix in the next month.   

 About the National Basketball Retired Players Association

The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) is comprised of former professional basketball players from the NBA, ABA and Harlem Globetrotters. It is a 501(c) 3 organization with a mission to develop, implement and advocate a wide variety of communal and global programs to benefit its members, sponsors andthe community. The NBRPA was founded in 1992 by basketball legends Dave DeBusschere, Dave Bing, Archie Clark, Dave Cowens and Oscar Robertson.
