NBRPA National Office teams with LA Chapter

The NBRPA’s National Office and Los Angeles Chapter partnered with the Housing Authority for the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) for a very special community event held November 21. Supported in-part by a cash donation from the NBRPA National Office, Members supported the HACLA’s annual Thanksgiving Turkey Benefit in the Jordan Downs Housing Community, located in the Watts area of Los Angeles.
“I would like to thank our Los Angeles NBRPA Members and the Housing Authority for the City of Los Angeles for their participation in what was a wonderful community event at Jordan Downs,” said NBRPA CEO Arnie D. Fielkow. “Our Los Angeles Chapter has a history of giving back to the community and it was a pleasure to join forces with our Members and the HACLA to help provide Thanksgiving dinner to those in need.”
Both Fielkow and NBRPA President & Chairman of the Board Robert A. (Bob) Elliott participated in the Thanksgiving Benefit alongside Los Angeles NBRPA Members Lucius Allen, Sam Williams, Rick Darnell, Keith Erickson, David Cooke, Cory Blackwell, Morse Taylor and Mark Englander. More than 130 turkeys were donated to Jordan Downs residents as part of the event.
