Music career taking flight for McCarty

Walter McCarty – who played 11 NBA seasons for New York, Boston, Phoenix and the Los Angeles Clippers and worked as an assistant coach for Indiana – has a new career in the music business that is taking flight. The former first-round pick from Kentucky and now President and CEO of Hit Boys Entertainment, has recently signed an exclusive distribution deal for his Hit Boys Entertainment record company with Boston based Bronx Bridge Entertainment. The deal allows for McCarty to release several projects through his label, including his own project, Emotionally.
Emotionally will be released in the first quarter of 2012, his single “Emotionally” is presently on the smooth jazz charts and crossing into the R&B charts. McCarty has always been a singer, songwriter, and musician. This deal allows him to pursue his dreams of creating great music and performing for music lovers, while at the same time making the dreams of others a reality as well.
“I’m blessed to have this opportunity,” McCarty said. “I will be embarking on an NBA city tour after the New Year and I intend to hit every city. It will be a great experience and will be a lot of fun for everyone. My basketball fans will see me in a different light.”
Said Evaristo Santiago of Bronx Bridge Entertainment, Inc.: “We are proud of our affiliation with Walter McCarty. His single is moving well and his album includes a couple songs from super producer ‘Blaze’. Walter’s second career will be as successful as his NBA career. His video will be out soon and we look forward to a long relationship with Walter and Hit Boys Entertainment.”
