NBRPA To Increase Annual Member Grant Program Funding

February 17, 2018

The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) has announced that it is expanding its annual Member Grant Program to concentrate more of its funds on helping its members transition to life after the game.

The Member Grant Program has supported players seeking professional development, educational opportunities and those in financial need. The increases officially went into effect in January, 2018.

“We first launched the program in 2015 to help cover virtually all areas necessary to assist former players in the transition to life after basketball,” said NBRPA President & CEO Scott Rochelle. “The program has already proven to be extremely valuable, so the board has approved our request to double down and add even greater value to our members.”
