Rasual Butler (May 23, 1979 – January 31, 2018)

Rasual Butler had an impressive 14-year career in the NBA, having played for the Miami Heat, New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs during his tenure in the league. Butler was born and raised in Philadelphia and was drafted by the Heat in 2002. His outside shooting was considered his greatest strength, shooting 36 percent over the course of his career and 46 percent from behind the three-point line. He made a career-high 134 three-point shots during the 2006-07 NBA season. On January 31, 2018, Butler and his wife, singer Leah LaBelle, were killed in a car accident. They will both be missed and remembered by many.
