The Legends of Basketball are hitting Broadway.

NBRPA Members and basketball fans are invited to check out one the greatest rivalries in NBA History in New York City with a very special showing of the critically-acclaimed MAGIC/BIRD play at the Longacre Theatre alongside several prominent Legends of Basketball on Thursday, April 19.

The National Basketball Retired Players Association and Maccabi USA have partnered to bring members and fans a wonderful Broadway Sports experience. On April 19, theatergoers will join NBRPA Members Dolph & Danny Schayes, Otis Birdsong, Jack Marin and Sam Vincent, along with other NBRPA Legends, at an exclusive pre-theater cocktail reception. Theatergoers will be provided with the best seats in the house and immediately after the play, they will have an exclusive audience with the cast and producers during a post-show Q&A session.

Proceeds from this magical evening will benefit the National Basketball Retired Players Association’s Legends Care Foundation to benefit its Dave DeBusschere Scholarship Fund that allows former professional basketball players and their children the opportunity to pursue a college education. Additional proceeds will benefit Maccabi USA to help fund the participation of Team USA at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel.
