National Basketball Retired Players Association Dallas Chapter to team up with IDK Foundation

CHICAGO – The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), the only alumni association comprised of former NBA, ABA, Harlem Globetrotters and WNBA players, will team up with the Dallas-based IDK (I Didn’t Know) Foundation on June 7 from noon to 1 p.m. to teach at risk-youth lessons in fitness and health. The NBRPA Dallas Chapter, led by former All-Stars Mark Aguirre (former Dallas Mavericks) and Cincy Powell (Chapter President/former Dallas Chaparrals), partners with the IDK Foundation on a regular basis. This very special community event will take place at The Hidden Creek Apartments, located at 4407 Hatcher St., Dallas, TX 75201.

WHO: Former All-Stars Mark Aguirre, Cincy Powell, and other members of the NBRPA Dallas Chapter, in conjunction with the IDK Foundation

WHAT: Lessons on health, fitness, and positive life choices

WHEN: Noon – 1 p.m. on June 7

WHERE: Hidden Creek Apartments located at 4407 Hatcher St. Dallas, TX 75201

WHY: As part of its charitable mission, the NBRPA works to positively impact communities and youth through basketball. The NBRPA works with hundreds of youngsters across the country promoting health and positive life choices.
