The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) is proud to announce an expansion of services with Reel Media Group. The 2017 partnership will feature expanded services for NBRPA Members including new complimentary programming and NBRPA funded opportunities in addition to the acclaimed Broadcast Boot Camps and webinars hosted by Reel Media Group. Most importantly, each program will feature input and training from the many NBRPA Members currently working in broadcast and television.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Reel Media Group and provide even more opportunities for our members to take part in these valuable sessions,” said NBRPA Acting President and CEO Scott Rochelle. “These boot camps and training sessions will help our members break down the top discipline and techniques of sports analysts when engaging in commentary and broadcasting opportunities.”

At the boot camps, NBRPA Members will get the chance to work exclusively with the nation’s top broadcasting coaches. The camps feature Reel Media Group Co-Owners and Media Experts Bram Weinstein, former ESPN Sportscaster Anchor and current host of ‘The Bram Weinstein Show’ on ESPN 980 in Washington D.C., and Stephanie Siegel, an Emmy Award Winning Reporter. Each boot camp will feature at least one NBRPA Member currently working in the broadcast industry.

Reel Media and NBRPA are also happy to announce there will be a free two-day Broadcast Boot Camp for all members in attendance at the Legends World Sports Conference in Los Cabos, Mexico, August 18-20.

In addition to this, Reel Media Group and the NBRPA are happy to offer former WNBA players the option of two specialized programs for free. These members will have the option of a traditional Broadcast Boot Camp or a Digital Content Creation Workshop where they will join Reel Media Group for two scheduled one-hour Skype calls discussing the fundamentals of digital content creation and helping members improve their social presence via platforms.
