P.A.S.T. & NBRPA Team-Up in Las Vegas

February 1, 2012

Organized by Jerome Williams, NBRPA members in Las Vegas held a very special community event in conjunction with the P.A.S.T. Retired Athletes Medical Group at Whitney Elementary School. Williams connected P.A.S.T. with a local Las Vegas charity – Village of Hope – to provide free diagnostic medical screenings to adult members of the community.

Several NBRPA members brought support to the event by interacting with children in the Village of Hope program while P.A.S.T.’s medical team screened their parents. The event was also attended by NBRPA President & Chairman of the Board Robert A. (Bob) Elliott) and CEO Arnie D. Fielkow.

“While there isn’t an NBA team in Las Vegas, we definitely have the makings of an NBRPA Chapter through the efforts of active members like Jerome Williams and Keith Starr,” Fielkow said. “I would like to personally thank Jerome, Keith and all the Las Vegas members for joining us at Whitney Elementary. The NBRPA would also like to express a big thank you to P.A.S.T. for their continued support of our members and the community.”
