Statement from the NBRPA on elections for the NBPA Executive Committee

August 22, 2013

The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) would like to congratulate Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul on his election as President of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA). Chris is a proven leader on the court and it is exciting to see him take on this very important leadership position off the court. The NBRPA would also like to congratulate Roger Mason on his election as First Vice President, as well as Steve Blake and Anthony Tolliver for their election as Vice Presidents for the NBPA Executive Committee. We look forward to working with the entire NBPA Executive Committee, alongside interim Executive Director Ron Klempner, in the coming year to build on the historic NBRPA/NBPA partnership in order to provide mutually beneficial programming for active and former NBA players.
