THE NBRPA TEAMS UP WITH SPORTSBLOG.COM

November 14, 2013

The NBRPA has teamed up with the wildly popular SportsBlog.com to offer its members an innovative platform to connect with fans. Home to 10,000 sports bloggers, SportsBlog.com, the first Web site of its kind, will offer the largest network of former pro basketball player blogs in history beginning on January 1, 2014. The blogs can be accessed at SportsBlog.com/Players.

“We are always looking for new ways to tell our story and to connect our Legends of Basketball with fans,” said NBRPA President & CEO Arnie D. Fielkow. “SportsBlog.com will provide us with a cutting-edge, interactive platform to accomplish these goals.”

The NBRPA joins the thousands of NFL and WNBA players, as well as fans, who are already using SportsBlog.com. The site allows anyone to start a Sports Blog, as well as participate in monthly contests and the site’s easy-to-use revenue sharing program. SportsBlog.com is the largest platform of its kind and growing faster than ever.

“SportsBlog.com specializes in helping professional athletes connect with fans, and we are thrilled to provide the NBRPA with a unique and cutting edge platform to do just that,” said Roy Dano, SportsBlog.com CEO. “Professional athletes and fans from across the world are highly engaged in our online community, and we are thrilled to welcome former professional basketball players to our network.”

As part of the new partnership, SportsBlog.com will provide each NBRPA sports blogger with a professionally designed blog, as well as create a custom NBRPA mobile app.
