The Legends of Basketball has a longtime partnership with the NBA Players Legacy Fund, which provides financial grants to former NBA and ABA players facing significant financial or medical hardship. Over the years, the Legacy Fund has also committed upwards of $2.1M in scholarship funding to LOB and is currently the sole sponsor of the Earl Lloyd Scholarship Fund (link to the ELS page).
Although LOB and the Players Legacy Fund work together on many initiatives, the two organizations are distinct, each with their own budget, leadership, and staff.
