W Legends Brunch + Social
As the basketball world gathers in Chicago for AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend, Legends of Basketball proudly presents the W Legends Brunch + Social—an elevated gathering celebrating the women who built the game, the leaders shaping it today, and those who will carry it into the future.
More than a brunch, this signature event serves as an intimate leadership forum that brings together WNBA Legends, current players, league executives, corporate partners, healthcare leaders, community advocates, and influential voices from across the sports industry. Together, they will celebrate the extraordinary legacy of women's basketball while engaging in meaningful conversations about where the game is headed next.
Centered around the theme, "Where the Game Moves Forward," the program will feature opening remarks from Legends of Basketball CEO Antonio Davis and a featured leadership conversation with WNBA Legends Tina Thompson and Cynthia Cooper, moderated by Rushia Brown. Rather than reflecting solely on the past, the discussion will explore how the experiences of the women who transformed the game continue to influence athlete leadership, business, mentorship, and the future growth of women's basketball. Together, they'll share perspectives on building the game, investing in the next generation, and the work that still lies ahead.
Following the program, guests will continue the celebration during an exclusive rooftop social featuring networking opportunities, partner activations, media moments, and conversations that strengthen relationships across the women's basketball community.
The W Legends Brunch + Social reflects Legends of Basketball's ongoing commitment to ensuring the pioneers of women's basketball receive the recognition, visibility, and celebration they have earned while creating a platform that connects generations of leaders. As the organization's signature WNBA All-Star Weekend event continues to grow, it stands as a powerful reminder that the women who changed the game are still moving it forward.

Chicago Gears Up for an Unforgettable AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026

The Chicago All-Star 2026 Host Committee is officially underway, setting the stage for a citywide celebration as Chicago prepares to host the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game on July 24–25, 2026. Led by Co-Chairs Candace Parker, Dwyane Wade, and Nadia Rawlinson, the committee is bringing together civic leaders, business partners, and community organizations to create an All-Star experience that extends well beyond the court.
Since launching in January, the Host Committee has built momentum through community activations, business forums, and events highlighting the continued growth of women's basketball. Two signature legacy initiatives—the WNBA Line 'Em Up campaign and the Chicago Sky Basketball Academy—will help expand access to the game by creating new opportunities for girls and young athletes across Chicago through court enhancements, skills development, and mentorship.
As excitement builds toward All-Star Weekend, Chicago is preparing to welcome fans from around the world for a celebration of basketball, community, and the continued rise of the women's game.
