Dr. Hansra comes to Legends from Hansra Consulting and Advisory Services, an organization she founded that supports nonprofits to create Conscious Cultures through Training, Strategy, and Evaluation. Her primary role at Legends is to serve as the CEO’s strategic force multiplier, translating organizational priorities into executable plans. This support includes strengthening internal operations and building a Conscious Culture of trust and accountability among the team. Dr. Hansra leads strategic initiatives including culture-building, while enabling each staff member to deliver against goals aligned to the Legends’ mission and member services. Along with serving Legends, she is a dynamic author, instructor, and motivational speaker. Prior to founding Hansra Consulting, Dr. Hansra has over 24 years of experience serving in leadership in Chicago area non-profit organizations. She was the Chief Program Impact Officer at the YMCA of Metro Chicago where she oversaw multiple departments and initiatives, and served as a Leadership Development Consultant at Rush University Medical Center, where she led the development of Rush’s I-CARE values refresh. Her roots in teaching include roles as a Visiting Professor at DePaul University instructing undergraduate and masters-level pre-services teachers, and a high school English teacher at Naperville Central High School. Dr. Hansra’s person-centered and culturally competent approach to leadership is a distinct identifier in the field and her personal story of overcoming adversity to become a professor, C-Suite leader, and CEO of her own company is featured in the book Aspire: Women Finding Their Purpose.
