Built Different. On Purpose.
The 2026 Legends Annual Meeting brought together NBA, WNBA, ABA, and Harlem Globetrotters Legends from across the country for three unforgettable days of connection, celebration, learning, and service in Las Vegas.
More than an annual gathering, the meeting served as a reminder that being a Legend extends far beyond basketball. Throughout the week, members invested in their health and wellness, strengthened lifelong relationships, explored new opportunities, celebrated the rich history of the game, and reaffirmed their commitment to making a difference in communities across the country.
This year's Annual Meeting was especially meaningful as we celebrated two historic milestones—the 30th Anniversary of the WNBA and the 100th Anniversary of the Harlem Globetrotters—while continuing to build on our mission of supporting former professional basketball players in life after the game.
Day One: Reconnecting as Legends
The week began with warm reunions as Legends arrived from across the country for registration and the Welcome Dinner. Old teammates reconnected, new friendships were formed, and members received organizational updates while preparing for a week focused on personal growth, professional development, and community.
The evening set the tone for what would become an inspiring few days centered around one shared belief: once you're a Legend, you're always family.
Day Two: Investing in Our Future
The second day focused on empowering our members with the tools and resources to thrive beyond basketball.
Educational sessions explored personal branding, financial wellness, entrepreneurship, health, business development, and purpose after the game. Legends also participated in meaningful conversations with industry leaders and fellow members while learning about new initiatives designed to expand opportunities across the association.
The day also celebrated the enduring impact of our members, recognizing that every Legend has a unique story and an opportunity to continue inspiring future generations.
Day Three: Legends Cares in Action
The Annual Meeting concluded with one of the most meaningful traditions of the week—our Legends Cares Community Service Event.
Led by the Las Vegas Chapter under the leadership of Chapter President Doug Lee, Legends partnered with local organizations to host a community food distribution for families in need. Together, volunteers helped provide more than 35 pounds of fresh groceries to each family served, demonstrating that the impact of our members reaches far beyond the basketball court.
The event perfectly reflected the spirit of the association: using the platform of basketball to create lasting change in our communities.
Thank You to Our Partners
The success of the 2026 Legends Annual Meeting would not have been possible without the generosity and collaboration of our partners, speakers, volunteers, chapter leaders, staff, and every Legend who attended.
Thank you for helping create an experience that celebrated our past while building an even brighter future for our members.

Looking Ahead
While the Annual Meeting has come to a close, the work continues.
We're excited to carry this momentum into WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago, where we'll continue celebrating the incredible women who helped build the game while bringing together Legends, partners, and fans for another unforgettable weekend.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Las Vegas. We can't wait to see you again soon.
